The IMPACTxp maintenance and
facilities management solution can interface with a large number of
industry leading ERP and accounts systems. In many cases the IMPACTxp
inventory management and purchasing modules are used to cater for
engineering spares and the interface passes details of material usage and
orders to the accounts or ERP system for final payment and analysis in the
general ledger. In other scenarios the ERP solution is used for stock
control and purchasing and IMPACTxp simply
places a demand for materials in the third party system, or receives details
of unplanned issues made against IMPACTxp work
orders.
GIS and space planning applications IMPACTxp can link to mapping and intelligent drawing systems to provide “Visual Search” facilities, which allow an operator to select plant items from a drawing. This can also work in reverse so that once an asset has been identified in the IMPACTxp database the drawing system will show the location of the asset by highlighting it on the relevant map.
