meet jeremy dyson: group services manager
"I joined Matrix in 1991 in a hardware support role, and
have progressed through from software support, to Project Manager to Support
Manager and to my current role of Group Services Manager.
I'm
responsible for the entire support side of the Matrix business, including
customer Help Desk, user training, system installations, upgrades, software
implementation, project management and consultancy services. In addition to this
I am also responsible for the 11 members of staff who comprise the Support Team
and have a significant involvement in a number of ongoing projects in the UK and
overseas.
My current projects include:
A system upgrade for one of our key
multinational clients covering 15 factories across 3 sites in Nigeria with
financial interface links via Satellite back to the UK. The upgrade involves a
move from our old IMPACT CLASSIC product, which has been in place for the last
10 years, to IMPACTxp and it is hoped to be completed early next year.
Project Management
for the 200 user IMPACTxp system installed at Home Hotline call center in
Preston.
Setting up a base
for IMPACTxp in Trinidad to promote the product and grow the business in the
Caribbean market, where we already have a number of clients.
It is gratifying to have developed personally as the business has changed and
grown over the years and I'm looking forward to the future and any new
challenges and opportunities which may come my way."
