impactxp makes a break into polish market

Armacell Poland Ltd has become the first company in Poland to implement the IMPACTxp software solution.

The Polish organization is a subsidiary of Armacell International Ltd, the former insulation division of the US group, Armstrong World Industries. With its headquarters in Munster, Germany, Armacell International Ltd is currently represented in 20 countries and employs 1500 people in production and sales worldwide.

Following the development of Armaflex in the early 1950s, which makes up around 25% of the worldwide market for insulating materials, Armacell International Ltd is the market leader in the area of flexible technical insulation.

The Polish subsidiary, Armacell Poland Ltd, is located in Sroda Slaska and employs 40 people. Three employees from Armacell's maintenance department are currently undertaking training, in preparation for the implementation of IMPACTxp to cover three modules: Base, Inventory and Run Time. Plans are also in place for the future, which will see IMPACTxp being upgraded in Armacell through the addition of new modules and users.
