iom at maphil forum

The iOM Ltd participated in the international forum for Maintenance Association of Philippines (MAPHIL) held last week in Pasay City of Philippines representing Sri Lanka.

The MAPHIL forum is an event where members representing various industries, particularly in the manufacturing and utilities sector participate. Around 80 businesses conglomerates participated and discussed techniques and challenges in improving performance and throughput of equipment and maintenance facilities.

The iOM highlighted "optimizing plant maintenance with iOM's solutions" at the forum. It promoted iOM product features and benefits, IMPACTxp as a facilities management system solution addressing a problem and the challanges raised by the industry. The Mitsubishi Motors Inc, San Miguel Corporation, NEC Computers were among the many participants.

The iOM Managing Director, Zulficar Ghouse said "The reason for organizing seminars in the Asia Pacific region on maintenance management solutions is to create awareness amongst large corporations and small and medium scale enterprizes on the long term benefits of preventive maintenance and thereby how a cost center can be converted into a profit center using proactive maintenance strategies."
