The IMPACTxp work order control system allows the user to schedule preventive maintenance tasks more closely to the actual and individual requirements of plant equipment. Work orders can be scheduled on a calendar basis (for example daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) or once only.

The help desk module provides a quick and highly customizable method of entering work requests and problem reports. This module has been specifically designed to allow non-technical staff to log new problems that are reported by employees and/or customers. Once a request is logged in the system, any work orders that need to be scheduled can be raised within the IMPACTxp system directly from the help desk.

The management of stock and purchasing is crucial in any environment. The IMPACTxp stock control module facilitates the ongoing management of spare parts and consumables stock control whilst promoting a saving in total goods value.

If you are an estates manager, one of your main objectives is to minimize the costs associated with operating a building or facility. The costing and budgeting module is a very powerful module within the IMPACTxp system that allows the user to analyse and control cost expenditure and manage budgets for the financial year.

The IMPACTxp system can also be utilized by on-site (and indeed off-site) maintenance contractors for the management of assets and buildings. The contractor billing module is particularly useful as it allows the user (contractor) to raise invoices for work carried out on customer or client sites.

The schedule of rates module allows the user to attach monetary values to measured term contract work orders that have been raised on a building or asset. The flexibility of this module means that it can be utilised by the contractor to issue quotations or by the customer to issue work orders to on site contractors. These monetary values are derived from a National Schedule of Rates Table (NSOR), which can be imported into IMPACTxp using the generic interface module.

The IMPACTxp system recognises that estates management is a vast area. Therefore, IMPACTxp can integrate into a number of software packages that are utilized to support the facilities management operation. For example, IMPACTxp can integrate into Aperture and other GIS solutions providing visual space planning and the ability to interrogate the asset register from site drawings.
